Freight cars: improving safety requirements
Special requirements for anti lock braking device are added (see 7.2.13);
The requirement that freight cars with total mass greater than or equal to 12000kg should be equipped with sound warning device for right turn of vehicles (see 8.6.7);
The requirement that the total load-carrying capacity of the tyres for freight cars and trailers with a total mass of more than 3500kg (except for closed trucks, caravans and other special purpose trailers) should be less than or equal to 1.4 times of the total mass (see 9.1.1);
The requirement that three axle and more than three axle freight cars should have overspeed alarm function is added (see 10.5.2);
Added the requirement that users are not allowed to change the fuel type (see 12.5.1);
Added the requirement that all wheels of semi-trailer for dangerous goods transport, three-axle barrier type and bin grid semi-trailer should be equipped with disc brake (see 7.2.6)

The requirement that some passenger cars should be equipped with lane keeping assistance system and automatic emergency braking system is added (see 4.17.3);
The requirement that the electronic stability control system should be equipped for passenger cars with a height of 3.7m or more without passenger standing area is added (see 4.17.4);
The requirement that all service brakes of all passenger cars, dangerous goods transport vehicles, freight cars with total mass greater than 3500kg, special operation vehicles and semi trailers (except freight cars with all wheel drive function and special operation vehicles) shall be equipped with automatic brake clearance adjustment device (see 7.2.7);
The requirements for rated working pressure of air reservoir for passenger cars with vehicle length greater than 9m, freight cars with total mass greater than or equal to 12000kg and special operation vehicles refitted with truck chassis are added (see 7.8.1);
The strength requirements of bus superstructure are modified (see 11.2.1 of version 11.2.1 of 2012 Edition);
The requirements for the clear height of the luggage compartment under the bus are added (see 11.2.5);
The requirements for storage area of accompanying articles in some road buses are added (see 11.2.8);
The requirements for the number and volume of fuel tanks for road buses, tourist buses and buses without passenger standing area have been added (see 11.2.9);
From the above increases and changes, it can be seen that the safety of buses and the riding experience of passengers will be greatly improved. It is understood that the new national standard GB7258 It is an important part of China's national safety technical standards for motor vehicles. It is also the most basic technical standard for the safety management and accident vehicle inspection of motor vehicles. It is also one of the technical bases for China's motor vehicles.
